KATYA KABANOVA NO COLON

Um espetáculo muito bom. A começar pela soluçao cênica tomada pelo diretor Pedro Pablo Garcia Caffi, reduzind0-a um cìrculo que representa o local onde " os personagens vivem e se debatem em seus sentimentos mas intimos". Somente o vestuário é realista.

Outra soluçao feliz foi a de nao fazer intervalos. Os 90 minutos da ópera se transcorrem num continuum.

Excelente a orquestra do Colón, sob a conduçao segura de Gyorgy G. Rath. Nao há reparos a fazer.

Merecem elogios todos os cantores, com destaque para Elena Zhidkova (Varvara).

Valeu a pena a viagem.

A sala de espetáculos do Teatro está linda com a reforma. Sem dúvida uma das mais belas do mundo.

September 2010: In this issue Dudamel's concert with the Vienna Phil on Sept. 18 to be broadcast live to European cinemas and on Lucerne Festival web site LA Phil season opening only weeks away 2009 Inaugural Concert with the LA Phil is first full-length classical concert video released on iTunes Video from the Gothenburg Symphony opening night Dudamel's concert with the Vienna Phil on Sept. 18 to be broadcast live to European cinemas and on Lucerne Festival web site This week Gustavo Dudamel kicks off an international concert tour with the Vienna Philharmonic, beginning with two performances at the Lucerne Festival on Friday, September 17 and Saturday, September 18. Those who cannot attend the sold-out Saturday concert will be pleased to learn that it will be transmitted live to more than 50 cinemas throughout Europe and on the Lucerne Festival's web site at 4:30pm GMT. In addition, www.medici.tvwill carry a live webcast of the concert, and the video will be made available there for free on-demand viewing for 90 days following the performance. After the concerts in Lucerne, Dudamel and the Vienna Phil will travel to the orchestra's home, the Musikverein, for performances on September 23 and 24. They then fly to the United States for a concert at the Norton Center for the Arts in Danville, Kentucky (Sept. 27) and for two performances at New York City's Carnegie Hall (Oct. 2 & 3). The program for the concerts in Lucerne (Sept. 17) and New York (Oct. 3) includes Brahms's Tragic Overture, Schumann's Cello Concert in A Minor, and Dvorak's Symphony No. 9 "From the New World". In New York, the soloist for the Schumann will be the legendary cellist Yo-Yo Ma; in Lucerne, it will the young German-French cellist Nicolas Altstaedt. Works to be performed for the remainder of the tour include Rossini's Overture to La Gazza Ladra, Orbon's Tres Versiones Sinfónica, Bernstein's Divertimento for Symphonic Band, and Ravel's Pavane pour une infante defunte and Bolero.
